The FCDHV launches award categories

The 3rd edition of the Vieques Film and Human Rights Festival [FCDHV], will take place from December 8 to 11, 2022 and arises from the need to expand cultural alternatives from a social and committed approach to different problems around human rights. human rights, using the cinematographic image as a means of raising awareness. For its third edition, the FCDHV will premiere categories and a jury. The festival, which will take place in Vieques, with activities virtually, announced that its award categories will be:

  • Best Fiction Feature Film - Best Fiction Feature Film

  • Best Fiction Short Film - Best Fiction Short Film

  • Best Documentary Feature Film - Best Documentary Feature Film

  • Best Documentary Short Film - Best Documentary Short Film

  • Best student film - Best Student Film

  • Best Animation or New Technology Project - Best Animation or New Technology Project

  • Audience Award - Audience Award

The period for receiving works has been extended until July 15, 2022. National or international works may participate. The non-competitive sections of the Festival will be: Childhood and Youth, as well as Memory. During this edition, the FCDHV will premiere its jury. It will be made up of a group of highly qualified professionals, activists and filmmakers, to be announced soon.
